Photobooth

We have to start this by saying that we don’t live in the state. We planned our entire wedding from Ohio, and got married in Carlsbad. With that being said, Jeff Thomas made the ENTIRE process, from our first conversation to receiving our photos a couple of weeks ago incredibly awesome. I knew from talking with Jeff at first that his style and personality fit what we were looking for. He’s very very laid back, he will do whatever you want, but also will give any input when asked. We had most of our conversations via email, which he was always very prompt at getting back to us.

We chose a package with him that included our engagement photos. As soon as we got those back we were so happy we decided to go with him. We were in LOVE with our photos. When it came to the day-of, he was at the venue early to get the photo booth set up and to take a look around the grounds to familiarize himself and see where to get the best shots. During the girls’ getting-ready process, he was there taking lots of candid photos, and capturing all the fun. He really makes you feel comfortable, and eventually you don’t even notice he’s taking photos.

I have to say the ceremony photos turned out amazing. Two photographers and I didn’t notice either one during the ceremony! They are stealth (lol), and come out with amazing shots! I really can’t say enough good things about Jeff. If there’s definitely something not to skimp on for your wedding, it’s the photographer, and Jeff is definitely one of the best out there! He even sent us a USB drive with all of our photos (which was A LOT) out to Ohio for us. He’s worth every single penny!

My husband and I got married on 8/1/15. We hired Jeff & Ryan to be our videographer and to provide/run the photo booth for our wedding. We could not be happier! I would recommend Vertex to anyone.

Our highlight reel is incredible. Not only were the best parts of the day captured, but they were put together in such a beautifully artistic way. The video captured the essence of our day perfectly. Jeff clearly understood what was important to us and our video is a perfect representation of who we are as a couple.

I’m also so happy we decided to go with the photo booth from Vertex. They had amazing props and the booth printed multiple copies for guests and we were provided with digital copies of all the photos. Those were fun to look at! The photo booth was a huge hit for guests, it was never empty!

Lastly, I’d like to say that not only are we beyond happy with their services, but also, Jeff and his partner Ryan were amazing wedding guests! We had so much fun with them and they made sure everyone felt comfortable while they were taping. Couldn’t be happier!!!!

Jeff and Vertex Photography went above and beyond capturing our wedding at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla this past August. What I loved about working with Vertex is that they incorporated the unique aspects of our wedding venue while still capturing every special moment and detail of the day. He has a talent for working with people to create very natural photos that bring out a couples relationship. Honestly, the photos speak for themselves and we couldn’t be happier with the final outcome!

Jeff is the most down to earth, easy going, get the job done kind of guy! His work explains itself. Everything that went into our special day, was no problem for Jeff. He is one of those guys that truly cares about his product, his clients, and making your day the best it can be!

In the back of my mind I knew he was at my wedding but, he is a ninja and I rarely saw him! Jeff sent the pictures shortly after our wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better job. The photos were edited and not just edited in color, but in black and white and they were broken down from prep of the bride and groom, ceremony, and reception!

My fiance and I met Jeff and Ryan at a friend’s wedding, as they were videographers for the event. They made such an impression that my fiance and I knew that there was no doubt that we wanted them to film our big day, as well. Jeff does such an incredible job of making everyone in the wedding party and family members feel comfortable, at ease, and yet he seems to capture every single perfect moment without people knowing he is there. He truly has such a gift and his videos are pieces of art. Our video was so very unique and creative and we both felt that our love story was truly captured by Jeff and Ryan.

We are guilty of watching our wedding videos over and over again and I think that’s a true testament to their talent and abilities. I don’t know how I will ever top any of these other reviews because they are all true to Jeff Thomas and Vertex. I knew as I was planning my wedding that the two most important parts of it would be the video and that photography, because those are the parts that will last forever, other than the love that my husband and I have for one another of course. I knew that I needed to make these things the best that they could be, and by hiring Jeff Thomas as our videographer, I couldn’t be happier. He delivered above and beyond all expectation.

Starting with prior to the wedding, Jeff was helpful and engaging on my wants and needs when it came to important pieces that I hoped to preserve of our wedding. He was patient with me when I started to feel as though I might be asking a little too much; and he was just an all around great guy, settling my nerves as they began to kick in.

On the day of Jeff was funny, professional, “invisible”, easily directing, and actually added to the awesomeness that was our wedding day. I was completely blown away by how easy he made it for us to relax and not focus on the fact that we were being filmed and photographed, and a little stressed, lol.

And then the final product . . . Jeff took our wedding and turned it into a work of art that we will be able to cherish forever. I already watch it multiple times a day and will probably continue to. Jeff asked me to send him music that I would like to be in the video and the way that he molded those songs to the scenes of our wedding was just amazing. I will be recommending Jeff and Vertex as soon as I get the chance; and if ever I am in need of a videographer, there is no one else that I will go to.

I wish I could give more stars!!!! Jeff is the most wonderful, down-to-earth, artistic, dedicated videographer and person you will meet! I absolutely cannot recommend him enough! If you want to capture your wedding day or another big event in your life so perfectly and completely, hire Jeff.

I interviewed quite a few photographers and videography teams before my wedding this past February, but Jeff came recommended by a friend who’s wedding video I loved. Jeff was very flexible in finding a time and place to meet with me and discuss my desires for a videographer. His prices were very reasonable (for two videographers all day!!), and he had some great ideas. It was months before the wedding, but I booked him right away and felt confident that he would produce a great highlight reel of our wedding for us.

The day of the wedding, Jeff arrived early to film me and my girls getting ready. He respected our privacy yet still captured all of the special little moments and the excited/nervous energy of the morning so perfectly. He stayed until the very end of the night, and he and his assistant were like ninjas! They seemed to be there for absolutely every moment all around the venue!

The highlight reel came quickly after the wedding, as promised, and, because they worked so hard, they got so much great footage, so the reel was longer than originally planned, and he didn’t charge us a cent more!! He also sent us footage of our wedding ceremony AND all of the speeches of the night, and they were so beautifully put together!! Thanks to Jeff and his amazing team, my husband and I are able to hear our vows and our dear family and friend’s speeches for years to come, and we can share and relive our perfect day!! Jeff is so easy to communicate with and is undoubtedly THE BEST out there… don’t miss out on this one!!!

Vertex Photgraphy is AMAZING! Me and my husband picked Jeff as our photographer for our wedding, because I’ve been friends with him since high school and I saw all the amazing work he’s done through Facebook for years now with our friends weddings and the promotional things he does too! Jeff really knows how to take a beautiful photo, plain and simple.

Me and my husband are so happy we went with Jeff after we received our photos of the big day, every picture is perfect! I also regret not getting the videography done as well ow that I see the amazing things he and his assistant could do! Every aspect of my wedding Jeff captured; all the feelings, details, preparations, and party of the big day, Jeff was able to get in every photo! We also went with the photo booth that Jeff has at our wedding and it couldn’t have been a bigger hit!

And I also have to mention that Jeff gave us every photo of the wedding day to print where we wanted, not forcing us to go with him for every print of every photo like most photographers will do. He also gave us very copy of the photo booth photos and printed as many copies as our guests wanted of their phot. Things like this are why I will recommend Jeff for anyone I meet who needs a photographer. He is a stand up guy who knows how to really run a business and has an amazing talent of taking pictures of people, things, places, or anything else that means a lot to you and you want to remember with a picture! Jeff will not disappoint!

Everything you’ve read about Jeff and Vertex photography is absolutely true. Jeff was the videographer and photo booth renter for our March wedding. We met at a Starbucks in Temecula and discussed all the details.

If I had an adjective to describe him, it would be “one-speed.” By that I mean he’s professional, personable, and FOCUSED. He’s not excitable, unorganized, or the kind of person you doubt.

Needless to say, he delivered come the day of the wedding. We got the highlight reel and the interviews along with all the pics from from photo booth and were mesmerized. It’s funny because although everything on your wedding day is a blur… I couldn’t recall seeing the videographers at all. They were so inconspicuous but caught so many wonderful moments and tied it with the music we chose.

My wife asked for one revision that he was quick to attempt to accommodate. We now have a highlight reel that we can email or write to a DVD to send to those who couldn’t make it. They will be sorry they weren’t there. Highly recommended and already have given him a referral to two of our friends getting married next year.

When you are planning your DREAM wedding one thing that everyone always say is to “make sure you get a good videographer and photographer!” Well, I can confidently say that Omar and I didn’t just get a “good” videographer we got a “top-notch outstanding, off the wall amazing, videographer!!!” We were blown away with the quality of the video and how he captured every detail with such a critical eye.

Jeff is such a creative guy and we were so fortunate to work with him on our big day!!! I was one of those brides that waited to the last minute to book a videographer but Jeff went above and beyond to capture our wedding. He noted the small details and really listened to what we wanted as a couple.

We also decided to do the photo booth that he offers! You can see some of the action in our video. I have to say that was hands down one of the biggest hits at our wedding. Jeff had the photo booth photos back to us within 24 hours of our wedding! It was fun to scroll through them and see what our guests were up to during the wedding! Jeff’s delivery on our wedding video was quick as well!!!

I was able to reveal the video to my family during the holidays and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! He so seamlessly weaved the music to our special day. The transitions were flawless! Jeff let us pick some of our favorite songs from the wedding and he chose the three that represented the video the best.

Jeff was recommended by both our wedding photographer and venue, both loved to work with Jeff because of his professionalism. He is such a great and talented artist and I am looking forward to working with him again for some family portraits in the near future. Thank you so much Jeff you went above and beyond!!!

Jeff is our go-to guy for everything photo/graphics/events/­video related. He creates an amazing “one-stop-shop” experience and continues to develop creative and custom services catered to each client. My husband and I first reached out to Jeff for engagement photos December 2012. We were so impressed by Jeff and so pleased with his quality of work. We used his photos for our save the dates, and one photo in particular was so iconic for us that we implemented it in our wedding.

We booked Jeff for our wedding in September 2013, and once again Jeff delivered. He knows how to capture the moments and also keep a steady and efficient flow of the wedding. He is extremely organized and respectful.

We also booked Jeff’s photo booth services. The key to a fun and successful wedding is to have an awesome photo-booth. Jeff’s photo booth is High-class and high-quality. He was able to customize the photo strips with the “iconic” engagement photo he took of us which just made it PERFECT. In addition to each guest receiving a copy of their photo strip in a matter of 6 seconds, my guests were also able to email their photos to themselves and also post directly to Facebook. They were also able to record videos!

I could rave about Jeff all day long! I am so thankful and grateful to Jeff for all of the wonderful work and positive experiences. Jeff is our lifetime photographer and artist.

My husband had worked with Jeff in the past for various photo shoots so when we needed a photographer for our wedding, he suggested Jeff. I’m pretty skeptical and picky so I was a bit nervous, but I’m so happy because we ended up with some amaaaazing photos!

He really specializes in capturing those “frameable” moments. I’m making a shutterfly book of our photos and it’s impossible to narrow down my faves. In fact, I’ll upload some to Yelp in the next few days.

He’s also very reasonably priced and accommodating. He traveled all the way from Temecula to our wedding in Lake View Terrace – probably a 2 hour drive – at no added cost or anything. Very professional.

In all, he’s a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him. =)

Working with Jeff was amazing. Not only does he take amazing photos, he was very passionate about getting my wife and I what we wanted. Our photos were incredible, I’ve never seen work like his; he is a true artist. But, what really made the wedding itself a blast was the photobooth, which was a huge hit amongst our guests! We almost didn’t get it, but we are so glad we did. The photos are hilarious! Thank you Jeff for making our experience so great!

Jeff shot my brother’s wedding and did such an amazing job and was so friendly, we had to hire him for our wedding. We really could not be happier with what we received!

His images are incredibly beautiful, and aren’t the typical wedding photos. He gave us plenty of traditional wedding photos to please our family, but what we really enjoyed was when Jeff gave us his own signature style on the images that really matter to us.

With Jeff your not only getting a passionate photographer, your getting an artist! Jeff followed through with everything he promised us and much more. Not only that, but he provided a photobooth at our wedding and the guest went wild for it! We still laugh at the photos, they are hilarious!

I had Jeff shoot my wedding pictures and he was wonderful! Not only did he take great pictures but his personality is awesome which I find a critical when hiring someone. Jeff was fast, reliable, affordable, and very accommodating! I would and will definitely hire him again when I need more pictures!

He also shot my sisters wedding video…and it was the most romantic, beautiful and just perfect video I’ve ever seen. He really is talented. ..so hire him :)
